On the road again

We’re starting to schedule events, most connected to the release of DAMAGED GOODS, McMorrow No. 9. Libraries and book talks are coming in first. I’ll be adding to the list as they come in:Damaged Goods Cover Final.indd

Thursday, March 4, 7 p.m., McArthur Public Library, Biddeford, Maine. (snow date March 18). I’ll be reading from DAMAGED GOODS, discussing the process that led to the writing of this one.

Sunday, April 25, 3 p.m., Albert Church Brown Memorial Library, China Village, Maine. I’ll read from DAMAGED GOODS a bit, chat, generally visit with folks. See a real small-town library in a historic 19th century building, with friendly faces and free home-baked refreshments.

Sunday, May 2, Graves Memorial Library, Kennebunkport, Maine, 2 p.m., author series. Good programs. Past speakers have included Monica Wood, Carolyn Chute, Ann Beattie, and Lewis Robinson.

Thursday, May 6, Longfellow Books, Portland, Maine, talk and signing.

Friday, May 14, Mr. Paperback, Belfast, Maine, 1-3 p.m.; signing DAMAGED GOODS.

Thursday, May 20, RiverRun Bookstore, Portsmouth, N.H., 7 p.m. Signing DAMAGED GOODS. Very fine independent bookstore store in a fun city.

Thursday, May 27, Skidompha Library (with Maine Coast Bookstore), Damariscotta, Maine, 10 a.m. to noon; talk and signing. Award-winning library in a bustling Maine coast town.

Saturday, June 19, Mr. Paperback, Elm Plaza, Waterville, Maine; 11 a.m.-1 p.m.; Father’s Day signing.

Thursday, June 24, Barrington Public Library, Barrington, N.H., 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, July 10, Maine Summer Book Fair, Boothbay Railway Village, 12:30-3:30 p.m., with reception to follow. A good way to spend a summer day on the Maine coast. More info to come.

Tuesday, July 13, Witherle Memorial Library, Castine, Maine., 7 p.m. Summer author series. This is a very active mid-coast Maine community with lots of mystery readers.

Monday, Aug. 2, 7 p.m., East Providence (R.I.) Public Library. Going home to my Rhode Island roots. Talk, reading, signing and generally hanging out.

Tuesday, Aug. 17, 6:30 p.m., Charles M. Bailey Public Library, Winthrop, Maine; summer author series. Talk, reading, signing.

Saturday, Sept. 18, 2 p.m., Bangor Public Library, meet the author series. Talk, reading, signing.

Thursday, Sept. 9, 6:30 p.m., Camden (Maine) Public Library. Talk, reading, signing.

Wednesday, Sept. 15, noon, Portland (Maine) Public Library, Brown Bag Lecture. Lecture sounds more formal than this book chat will be.

Thursday, Sept. 23, 6 p.m., Dartmouth Bookstore, Hanover, N.H.

Friday, Sept. 24, Mystery on Main, Brattleboro, Vermont, 7 p.m. A must stop for all mystery readers coming to Brattleboro.

Saturday, Sept. 25, Kingdom Books, Waterford, Vermont, 11 a.m. Shop run by mystery readers extraordinaire,  Beth and Dave Kannell. Looking forward to heading west.

    I’m so glad to see that you’re going to be part of the Boothbay authors event. I just wish MWPA would understand that this is always held the same weekend as the Blues Festival, which is not a good idea. I’m going to write to them to see if they would consider eventually changing the date….this happens every year….I’ll look at the list of events to find other places where my family can find you and McMorrow #9 …can’t wait!
